Geometry dash wont open
Try going to C:\Users\ (YourName)\AppData\Local\GeometryDash then scroll all the way down to the bottom and find the files named "CCGameManager.dat" and "CCLocalLevels.dat". Move those 4 files out of there and then go to Steam, right click GD, click properties, click Local Files, then Click "Verify Integrity of Game Files".It was a faulty update. If you think you're experiencing the same problem, go to Device Manager > Display adaptors > [your graphics driver] > Right click > Properties > Driver > Rollback. After I uninstalled the update, the game started working right then. I didn't even have to restart Steam.The editing stops because I had to get off so no thumbnail ether.

I tried uninstalling Geometry Dash and installing it via the App Store, but that didn't work. And I can't install Steam due to personal restrictions! It's possible the game is immediately crashing because it's trying to load a missing texture or something. Try going to properties > local files > verify integrity of files, that almost always works for me. (just back up any custom textures, sounds, etc) I've tried that but that sadly doesn't work. try this guide.
